An investigation revealed a post on a Facebook page named after Chinmoy Krishna Das, dated November 19, which contained a similar image. The caption of this post mentions, "At one of the 51 seats of the mother, at the Bhavani Temple in Sitakunda, and the Bhairab and Vishwanath Temples, prayers and offerings for the welfare of all auspicious powers in the world." It was confirmed that this image was taken before his arrest on November 19, at a temple, not in jail.
According to fact-checking platform Rumor Scanner, the photo was digitally altered by adding metal bars from a jail. Furthermore, there is no credible news or information from trusted sources confirming that Chinmoy Krishna Das performed puja in Chittagong jail.
